Why the Correct Option is Right

Option B is correct because the test is literally two separate examinations taken back-to-back. The National portion covers general real estate principles, while the Texas State portion focuses exclusively on TREC rules, TRELA statutory codes, and Texas-specific contracts.

Why the Other Options are Traps

• Option A is a trap because a single combined score does not exist for the Texas exam.
• Option C is a trap because you take both portions in the same testing session, and if you fail one, you can schedule a retake as soon as testing center slots are available.

The Exam Trap
